How to get the TaraSec app

1. Choose how to connect

To use the app with TaraSec services, your phone needs access to a TaraSec router, hotspot or node. Choose one of these routes:

• Direct access: connect your phone to a network served by a TaraSec router or hotspot, or one that gives you access to a TaraSec node.
• VPN access: install the WireGuard VPN client on your phone, import your individual TaraSec QR code or configuration, and activate the tunnel before using the TaraSec app.

Approved testers can claim an individual QR code using the shared tester password. If you need tester access, contact TaraSec.

Get your WireGuard QR code

Installing the TaraSec app or joining the Google Play test does not provide network access by itself. WireGuard needs the QR code or configuration to connect.

2. Install the app through Google Play

Production is not live yet. If your Google account has been added to TaraSec's closed-test tester list, open the opt-in page with that same account, join the test, then install TaraSec through Google Play.

The opt-in link does not grant access by itself. If Play says you are ineligible, ask TaraSec to add your Google account to the tester list.
